Black Youth Metropolis aka Chime4Peace as its name implies is a movement that exists in order to create an atmosphere of harmony and peace among youth in and around their communities while restoring Inner city communities at large through entrepreneurship and Urban Sustainability.
Good Spirit Cafe’ bloggers and Cultural History Mentors In Entertainment, Education and Entrepreneurship Endeavors herein or C.H.I.M.E 4 Peace Biz Team associates will help to cultivate youth excellence and inspire them to share the and experiences gained from their entrepreneur role models. Whereas, our leaders in and around the community allow them to shadow their careers in the work place through paid internships. Youth will also share the project goal accomplishments in restoring and rebuilding “the village”.
Black Youth Metropolis Movement members will invite other youth to share positive experiences in volunteering and completing internship work for the purpose of encouraging more youth to participate in this effort. Youth are challenged to dedicate a minimum of 24 hours each month to restoring the village under the auspices of the 24/7 Unity in Love Project lead by youth organizations, ministry leaders and faith based organizations who will keep their doors open for 24 hours one day each 7 days in order to become a TRUE outreach resource to the community at large.
One church or ministry within a given area will agree to a day of the week to have their doors open while the other ministries offer additional resources, thus creating a “wrap around” services model for youth and the larger community during the 24 hour period.
The ultimate goal is to accumulate 24,000 hours of dedicated volunteer time donated by youth and to gain valuable work experience while reducing crime among youth in the inner city. Youth will begin to develop a positive new sense of pride, leadership, community responsibility and purpose in this new and innovative culture of education. Youth will gain valuable knowledge and experience, some will be offered permanent placement with their mentors businesses, earn certificates and awards for their services.
Donations to this cause also support transportation and other costs associated with the project for the youth. We are in need of another van to travel to various events and for travel safety after school. We appreciate any amount shared in support of our mission. Our youth slogan is “Chime 2 Prevent Cry-Me”.

Thanks for your comments… Chime4Peace is a model program that can be demonstrated anywhere in the world and focuses on teaching youth to become self-sustainable in order to reduce violence and create a more peaceful environment.
